VERSATILE ARENA MAINTENANCE
Arena Surfaces New Zealand works across a variety of horse arena surfaces throughout New Zealand, including fibre, sand and sand/rubber. Peter Macdonald explains that the versatility of the REDBACK Premium Arena Groomer is one of the features he values most, having used the machine across nearly every arena his business works with.
Peter describes the REDBACK Premium Arena Groomer as having the features and functionality needed for regular arena maintenance, with the ability to condition and work the arena surface to achieve the desired finish.
CONDITIONING, LEVELLING AND FINISHING
One of Peter’s favourite features is the conditioning tines. He explains that the tines provide a good amount of agitation and work into the arena surface without disturbing the base material.
The optional equaliser bar helps level and finish the surface, which Peter says they use regularly on competition arenas to leave a smooth riding surface. He also highlights the roller packer, which firms the surface back down and leaves it ready to ride.
MAINTAINING YOUR ARENA INVESTMENT
Peter discusses the importance of maintaining an arena after investing in its surface. As he explains, an arena surface is a significant investment, and its long-term condition depends on being able to maintain it properly.
Purpose-built equipment such as the REDBACK Premium Arena Groomer can help with regular grooming and conditioning, helping arena owners and professionals keep their surfaces in good riding condition.
